Project description

Conexión México needed a webapp that could have independent panels for both the management people and the PRs of the events, in order to have control over the sales and the places of the trips that were still available. Another goal of this project was to make it easier for PRs to book the tickets of the foreigners in less time and more simplifie by mobile devices, so they could register them anywhere.

Challenges

- Design a webapp with different accesses
- Link the current information of their web page with the application so that they are updated simultaneously
- The project had to be ready in a very short period of time with all the requirements
- Had to make the design more visual and intuitive
- Had to have the prototype ready with a lot less information
- The design had to be visually correct in its different mobile versions

What I've learned

- Integration of the web page information to the webapp
- New invision tools to explain better the user interface of each section
- Adapt the appearance of each screen designed for different specific resolutions
- Perform constant updates of the information with the client and adapt, add or edit the sections to their needs during the layout process

For a great trip, a great webapp

The best way to schedule trips is having a good organization in the database of the page, that's why we had to synchronize the webapp to the data of their web page so that all the PRs of Conexión México could do the booking of tickets anywhere at the required time.

User interfaces were made for RPs and admin users, so it has 2 types of access. With this they will have a better organization within the company.

An intuitive experience

Being able to create an interface in which administrators and PRs that enter the webapp could find the desired panel quickly was the first motivator, since the goal is to be able to add more buyers in less time. We also focused in the design that had to be friendly enough to be able to navigate it better, we could achieve this with iconography support.

Thanks to the web app of the project, they have been able to book almost twice as many tickets on most trips they offer.
Currently this number has been increasing.
